Complex Designs and Content Containers
What makes a Complex Composition?
In a single word - Layers - as in Content embedded in layers, upon layers, upon layers of Containers:

Using the Style Wizard, in the Targeting Screen, you can easily target and select any Container for modification, design and styling:
Working with Containers / Layers
Once selected, you can easily and quickly modify, copy and paste any Container
in your composition to speed up your workflow, using the tools in the Actions Screen
of the Style Wizard

Copying any Container
To copy any Container or Element in your composition, simply Select it in the Targeting Screen, and click the Copy button from the Actions Screen.
Pasting any Container
Top paste, first Select and Copy the content you want, then simply click anywhere in your composition where you like to paste the content in, and use any of the Paste options in the Targeting Screen.
Monkey Business supports different types of Paste operations. Suppose we want to copy the Content to the Destination shown below:
Paste ( or Paste Into ) - Pastes the copied content in the Destination, replacing the existing content.
Paste First - Pastes, and places the new content First in the Destination.
Paste Last - Pastes, and places the new content Last in the Destination.
Paste Replace - Pastes, and replaces the Destination with the new content.
Paste Text - Pastes, and replaces content of the Destination with just the Text in the copied content.
Deleting Containers / Layers
To delete any Container or Element in your composition, simply Select it in the Targeting Screen, and click the Delete button from the Actions Screen.
Adding New Containers / Layers to Compositions
The ability to create new Containers in complex compositions provide the flexibility you need to work quickly and easily.
Monkey Business provide the tools you need to create new containers quickly in complex compositions.
For example, suppose we have this Content in 3 layers of Containers:
In the Targeting Screen of the Style Wizard, can target and select these Containers:
Create New Container - Create and add a new Container to your Selection.
Create New Container First in Selection - Creates, and add a new Container as the first content in your Selection.
Create New Container Before Selection - Create a new Container before your Selection
Create New Container After Selection - Create a new Container after your Selection.
Create New Parent Container - Create a Container and places your Selection inside it.
When you do, the selectors in the Targeting Screen of the Style Wizard is updated, and you can easily Select & Target the new Parent Container for design and styling. In the above example, a green Background Color, and 20px Padding is applied so we can actually see it onscreen:
